Title

Design of Pipelines against Earthquake Loads

Prerequisites

Goal of the course

After an introduction and the explanation of the required mechanical basics the second part deals with “Buildings and Floor Response Spectra” and the third part with “Pipelines and Anchorage”. The aim is to deliver an interdisciplinary insight into the earthquake engineering to civil and mechanical engineers and to alleviate the communication between both parties. Independently PC-exercises with a practical software program will be conducted to improve the understanding.
